Your gonna love it, have an 05 v8 myself. We are sure the miles were roller back and its closer to 300k, but it runes perfectly smooth. Did all the fluid changes and maintenance and took it from los angeles to the canadian border and back without any issues. Im starting to work on the fun modes now that i know the enginr and transmission are sound after owning it for about two years

I don't recommend ANY additives in a well maintained engine! In gas ..yes. Engineering pt of view here. My '22 F150 Tremor 4wd (oil) w/gen2 3.5L GTDI V6 drains quite clean @5k mis. All bout consistency w/basic maintenance! *Pennzoil Platinum/Ultra Platinum 5w30 & Motorcraft filters* . Top Tier rated fuel used only - midgrade 89. 💯

Nope. It is as thin as water. I don't care what the label says, it has no viscosity. Would you drink it if the label said so? Do not run this stuff in your engine oil!

thought i had the same problem.... turns out this suburban of mine had a kill switch up under the dash, switch got knocked to the set position (probably from my dog as my knee is not getting up there) 2 hours of trying everything and then following the wiring from the ignition switch... sheesh.

I used a oem replacement part I got from Amazon I took off and installed in 15 min

Used Seafood on our 256K mile Ford Explorer. Used one can of Seafoam, which is hard to do, as the throttle is drive-by-wire. Got the engine to stall just before the can ran out. Let her heat soak 15 minutes. Started the engine back up, got some smoke. Put her in gear, gave it some gas, and she stalled right away. Got her started again an slowly, slowly drove off. The smoke show began. 250,000 plus miles of carbon, and PCV residue in the intake came off. Hitting the expressway at 45 mph was a fog show. The truck now no longer shudders at part throttle, and idles super smooth.

When compressing the springs have both ends pointing away from your body. In the video you used the impact wrench to compress the spring with the spring pointing straight at you. If it let go and exploded, it would have been driven into you. With so much talk of safety I am surprised you did this.

Good luck. My 2015 truck is dropping voltage when I park or when I'm coming to a stop when parking. . The engine shuts off completely. I can instantly restart it but it's a problem. Once I had no power for 15 min and then magically it just works again.

Thanks. I have a Nissan and the fuel pump comes out of the back seat without dropping the tank. Easier than changing the oil.

We drive a 23 and a 19 year old vehicles. I can work on both - everything from lights/brakes/spark plugs to full engine and transmission replacements or rebuilds. I don't replace things until I start seeing a problem develop. That's left me in a position once or twice, but there's no guarantee that I wouldn't have been there anyway or that a new part will even work as well as the old. My neighbors make half what I bring home and they're both driving new 60 to 80k vehicles. I hear all the time that I'm a tightwad with vehicles. Reality is that I keep my vehicles looking and driving great and I spend that 600 to 1000 a month on things that i actually enjoy or that benefit my family. You'll be way happier if your smarter and handier than you are popular.

I just changed oil in my 97 silverado,304000 odometer.Threw about 4- 5 ozs in my crankcase.The rest in my tank.I will change the oil again in about 2 weeks.

I use seafoam in all my small engines 2 and 4 cycle keeps them running great.😊

I've owned lots of high mileage cars, first thing I always did to them was do a simple ATF fluid drain and refill. Then see how the car responds to that for a hundred miles or so. If there's no issues (change of shifting points, balky operation etc.) then I'd consider doing a full flush and not before.

I’ll put it in the fuel tank but I don’t trust putting it in the oil and I’ve actually found the berryman B-12 is so much better and cheaper. $9 for seafoam versus $5 for Berryman B-12. And does the same thing just better
